Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. is her father, director of an online company and businessman. As a child of the context of a Catholic family, she was brought up in Manhattan's Upper East Side. To stay out of being a victim of the system, her parents were enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart a prestigious and religious school. She has always loved music. In the early years of her life, she began to learn how to play the Piano. When she was thirteen years old the first song she wrote was composed. She took part at open mics.
